Board of Directors & Officers
2021 Board of Directors
Our dedicated team of experienced professionals are always on the ball, utilizing their unique skills and passion to move the work of our Non-Profit Organization forward. We’re always pushing ourselves to stay ahead of the curve and striving to perfect our programs. Meet some of our incredible leaders below.

Steve Tharp
Director - Term Expires March 2024
I am a 39 year Texas Veteran and an electrical design engineer in the days of Texas Instruments Military Products, Bosch Telecom, Motorola, Samsung (Korea), and several Richardson start up businesses. Retired 4 years ago. Firewheel Farms No. 2 has been my home for 20 years.
I held Board of Director and Vice President positions for 7 years, 2013-2020.
My HOA involvement began by volunteering to renovate the median and then elected to Director in the HOA administration.
The Director role is helping people in our membership solve association related problems, lending assistance, understand the Federal, Texas and local laws to conduct the HOA operations.
The Association is +30 years in developing a great place to live. In the beginning, we were new homeowners, in new houses and ownership carried a great deal of importance being a home owner.
Today, our members have diversified goals and behavior that may not always reflect the pride of owning a piece of a wonderful neighborhood. I stand for all members to conduct themselves in a manner that shows respect to be a good neighbor and uphold the appearance of our homes.
I want you to elect me to Director position. I will guide the HOA administration to a common sense approach to living as an Association and continue to make Firewheel Farms No. 2 a great place to live.
My interests are maintaining our median as a showcase display that reflects our values, unlike any other neighborhood in the Dallas Metroplex. I like home improvement projects, writing computer programs to run stock market analysis, I will remain an electronic circuit hack and find enjoyment as a volunteer mentor for high school students attending Gilbreath-Reed Career and Technology Center in the robotic technology courses offered. I'm here to help my neighbors.
